• Fear,  Thoughts on Death

    Where will I be?

Politics, religion, race and gender all set aside, the one thing all living beings share in life is death.

It’s okay to talk about dying, in fact, it’s a good thing. Talking about death doesn’t bring it any closer, it just helps us to be more prepared and to be grateful for the time we have.

    Let’s talk about it.

  • New Years

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    What a great year!

We moved into a glorious little house, were able to go on several fun trips this year, got engaged, Michael started a new job, I published 2 books, created Crunchy Bunny Comics and we all survived the holidays (and paid the bills)!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around with Crunchy Bunny through 2018, I am so excited for the possibilities and plans of 2019!

Hope you all have a great New Years Eve, we’ll see you next year!

    Love,
    Jess & the Crunchy Bunnies

  • Thoughts on Death

    Expired.

I think a lot about the fact that our time here is limited. Sometimes it makes me shrink into a corner and cry. Sometimes I look at death passively, like observing a bee pollinating a flower.
Death is a very difficult thing to come to terms with in your life. I wasn’t exposed to it very often growing up, now it feels like it’s all around me. I guess that’s the way it is when you get older, you know more people, everyone else grows older with you, and before you know it you have to buy a new funeral dress because your old one expired… just like everything else.

Give your loved ones some extra time and attention today; they’re not going to be around forever.

Now that I’ve made you all nice and sad, have a great Hump Day!

    -Jess
