• Fear,  Thoughts on Death

    Where will I be?

Politics, religion, race and gender all set aside, the one thing all living beings share in life is death.

It’s okay to talk about dying, in fact, it’s a good thing. Talking about death doesn’t bring it any closer, it just helps us to be more prepared and to be grateful for the time we have.

    Let’s talk about it.

    Special Weather Report…

This afternoon we went to the store to pick up some ingredients for Michael’s famous spinach and artichoke dip (we’re not going anywhere, we’re just being gross and going to eat ALL that cheesy, greasy, delicious goodness ourselves… because SCHNACKS!!)

There’s supposed to be some ice this weekend, maybe a little snow. And in Kentucky, when a storm is coming, there’s this weird thing people around here do; They ALL go to the store, (at the same time) and completely wipe out the entire bread isle, and buy every jug of milk. If you’re unfortunate enough to run out of bread and need some that day, you might luck out and find one smushed package of hot dog buns left. Seriously.

Anyway, everyone was at the store and, I kid you not, everyone was in the parking lot too, drinking beer and hanging out around a fleet of Jeeps. WHERE ARE WE? Thanks Kentucky.

Kentucky’s bipolar when it comes to weather, we’re not sure what’s going down, but it will probably be some gross stuff!
At least everyone can make their bread and milk sandwiches!

The holiday’s are finally over, which means we can all get back in our antisocial bubbles. It’s not that we don’t like people, we just like being with each other way more. WAY more. <3

  • New Years

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    What a great year!

We moved into a glorious little house, were able to go on several fun trips this year, got engaged, Michael started a new job, I published 2 books, created Crunchy Bunny Comics and we all survived the holidays (and paid the bills)!

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around with Crunchy Bunny through 2018, I am so excited for the possibilities and plans of 2019!

Hope you all have a great New Years Eve, we’ll see you next year!

    Love,
    Jess & the Crunchy Bunnies

    Breathe.

Different style, just for fun. “Line-less” art.

It’s the Holidays, pockets are almost empty, the cold is settling in, the days are short, we’re all gonna die. How’s your angst holding up?

    Dear Santa…

…And I want income security. We can’t all get what we want, Crunchy.

December is a busy month, this weekend we’re thankful to have no plans, so that means cozying up under blankets to watch our favorite Christmas movies, and checking the weather every hour or so. Our local weather guys are back and forth about a potential winter storm coming in, it may happen, it may not, we could get 30″ or 0″… we’ll see.
I’m hoping for snow. The important thing is that everyone is stocked up on bread and milk! Haha

Hope you’re having a low-stress weekend! Stay safe and warm!

    -Jess

  • Halloween

    Moving on…

And just like that, it’s over.

Hope you enjoyed your Halloween! We didn’t get one single trick-or-treater, so I’m a little bummed… but I guess that means extra candy for us!
